Despite originally denying any involvement in shopping a deal for his sex tape with girlfriend, Playboy Playmate Karissa Shannon, former 'Smallville' actor Sam Jones III has apparently struck a deal with porn giant Vivid Entertainment to release the couple's X-rated DVD.
Confirming that a deal had been finalized to TMZ, Vivid president Steven Hirsch lauded the soon-to-be-released DVD as a sure "best seller."
"We are excited to finally distribute this amazing DVD. Not only is it extremely kinky for a celeb sex tape, Karissa is
absolutely beautiful," said Hirsch, before adding: "and as for Sam, let's just say he's no 'Smallville.''Jones and Shannon originally issued statements claiming to be upset about the sex tape getting to Vivid, and claimed that they were "exploring all options...especially legal options" to stop its release.
The 27-year-old actor, who appeared on the first three seasons of 'Smallville,' told TMZ in an interview: "Karissa and I are very upset to find out that Vivid had acquired any footage of us ... our legal team will take every legal action to stop this."
Nonetheless, Vivid Entertainment paid the pair a hefty sum of money and the video will be released in the coming weeks.
