"Are you a tough dad?" Gayle King asked. "No I'm probably the easy pushover because I was gone a lot when they were growing up, on the road" the Rev. Sharpton conceded. Al Sharpton is divorced from his wife but they are good friends. Sharpton went on to say that he doesn't want his children to follow his dream but that they should have their own dreams. He hopes they don't bring home an activist, citing that he has suffered enough for all the Sharptons.
