La La was taking a well-deserved respite from New York city and house searching. La La relaxed in her Los Angeles home while she entertained her son, Kiyan. She quizzed Kiyan about where he preferred to live. When she asked him what's your favorite between New York, Los Angeles and Denver, he picked the NYC. Why did he prefer the NYC, because it's new to him still? La La was hoping for a different answer. The conversation headed toward the "kids always say the darnest thing" territory when La La asked Kiyan if he missed his father. Kiyan said "I miss Dad a lot, Dad is my favorite". La La was slightly taken aback and asked what about me, but Kiyan repeated the same answer. La La realized how funny the situation was so she called Melo so that he could hear Kiyan say that.
