Snapped: Vanessa Williams & Supermodel Veronica Webb Show off Party Perfect Style

We cannot believe the holiday season is just around the corner. Forget about breaking out your safe LBD. This season of office parties, fiestas with friends and family affairs, calls for party dresses in luxe colors with tons of glimmering details. We look to the red carpet for inspiration and snapped 'Desperate Housewives' star Vanessa Williams at the 26th Annual Artios wearing a David Meister Signature strapless stretch satin cocktail dress ($1695, BergdorfGoodman.com).

What we fancy about this look are subtle accents, like the beaded floral appliqué on the side that really pinches in Williams' waist, and the champagne hue that makes you just want to celebrate with some bottle popping. "Do choose a hue that you are comfortable with. Bright colored gowns and dresses stand out, but if you are not used to wearing them, don't!," advises Leslie Tyler, TV personality and lifestyle expert, who also believes that if you are going sleeveless, toned arms say that you're hot. "Do some extra arm exercises at least 30 days leading up to the event you'll be attending."

Supermodel and Modelinia Fashion Week TV host Veronica Webb looked elegant, yet sexy while being snapped at the Women's Wear Daily 100 Anniversary Gala in a black and silver sunburst beaded bell sleeve dress from designer Pamella Roland's Fall/Winter 2010 collection ($4840, Bergdorf Goodman in-store). This dress works because materials like beads and sequins reflect light and radiate color, which means all eyes will be naturally drawn to you.

Take a cue from Webb's curled coiff explains Tyler and, "don't let your hair take away the attention from you! Avoid updos if they are not done by a pro or practice, practice, practice if you are doing it yourself." Remember as you are planning your party perfect assembles that, "the most important thing you can wear is self confidence," confirms Tyler.
