"H&M approached us to collaborate and see if we could translate the dream we created at Lanvin to a wider audience, not just a dress for less," says Elbaz, who joined Lanvin in 2001 to revamp the women's Pret-à-Porter collection. "I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public."
The collection features cosmetics, accessories, shoes, womenswear and menswear. There is something to fancy at every price point, which ranges from $19.95 to $350. One such surprise includes a special film that highlights the glamour and sophistication that the Lanvin brand has brought to H&M.
