Since making its debut on cable television last December, MTV's highly rated reality show 'Jersey Shore' has not only received flack for its depiction of Italian Americans but also inspired a legion of fans who took a likening to the "fist-pumping" cult.

One particular Hollywood insider, however, claims 'Shore' leading star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi isn't the first woman in show business to make the "poof" hairstyle famous.

BlackVoices.com recently caught up with publicist Eugenia Wright in Los Angeles during Sheryl Lee Ralph's annual "Divas Simply Singing" event. The bubbly red-carpet fixture had a few choice words for Snooki and "the world."

And, apparently, hairstyles aren't the only thing the two have in common.

Check out video below.

Wright is a former-actress-turned-publicist who founded the ISA PR firm.

Throughout her 20 years of experience in the industry, Wright and her firm have been nominated for various media awards, including EURweb's Most Outstanding Public Relations Agency category.

Wright has also appeared as the lead star in the music video for Philip Bailey's 1984 hit 'I Know.'

    Wendy Williams
Want to know who resembles this radio shock jock who became a New York Times best-selling author and a daytime talk show host? Think hard. You may be surprised. Go to the next page to see.

We think she resembles another colorful icon, a towering drag queen who also hosted a television talk show and topping the dance music charts in the early 1990s. Go to next page to see a matchup.

    See what we mean?
It's quite obvious that RuPaul and Wendy Wlliams could have been separated at birth. Identical cheek bones, nose, bleach-blond artificial hair and a very wide, toothy smile makes it hard to tell these two apart.

    Eddie Murphy
Believe it or not, in Wes Craven's 1995 flick 'Vampire in Brooklyn,' Golden Globe-winning actor-funnyman Eddie Murphy resembles most prolific songwriters of R&B music. Go to the next page to see for yourself.

There's nothing funny when it comes to the striking resemblance between Murphy and one-half of the husband-and-wife production team. The two also share a common interest in music. Go to next page to see a matchup.

    See what we mean?
By the looks of it, Nickolas Ashford and Murphy have a lot of stock in Luster hair care products! Unlike Murphy, whose music career was short lived, Ashford have crafted hits for the best of them from Ray Charles to Chaka Khan.

    Queen Latifah
Would you ever guess who this Grammy Award-winning, Academy Award-nominated hip-hop diva, born Dana Elaine Owens, is a dead ringer for? Go to the next page to see for yourself.

We think she resembles a Tony Award-winning superstar, who, much like Latifah, diversified her career pursuits with gigs such as her own show and a major advertising campaign. Go to next page to see a matchup.

    See what we mean?
The one and only Pearl Bailey and Queen Latifah look like they could've been separated at birth. Bailey, who was awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1988, was one of the premier African American celebrities of her day.

    Wesley Snipes
Who in the world could possibly look identical to this famed actor who once played a fugitive on the run for the 1998 flick 'U.S. Marshals?' Go to the next page to see for yourself.
