Jennifer Holliday still holds a grudge about the 2006 remake of "Dreamgirls". Wendy asked a forthright and loquacious Jennifer Holliday, who played the Effie role in the original stage play, if she saw the movie version. Jennifer answered with a perturbation. The audience went nuts. Wendy enjoyed the audience's discovery of the animated Jennifer Holliday. Wendy's audience seems mixed with young and old. It is quite possible that many people in the audience didn't know why Jennifer Holliday is such a big deal. Jennifer gave everyone something to "ooo" and "ahhh" about. Jennifer and Wendy are good friends and therefore, Wendy knew what buttons to push. Wendy asked the divorcee how long she was married and followed that up with, "Did he take advantage of you?" The audience gasped. Jennifer said no and added that she has always had good luck with male relationships. Wendy asked if she cooked. After Jennifer said no, Wendy responded with, "well then you must have another talent (smirk)." The audience loved that as well.
Jennifer weighed in on the morality of Fantasia playing Mahalia Jackson, given the allegation that Fantasia is having a baby by a married man. Jennifer had quite a bit to say and didn't not spare Oprah either. Watch the clip to see what she has to say about Oprah.
