'The Dr. Phil Show' : Ted Williams I LiedTed "The Golden Voice" Williams made his return to the Dr. Phil show to make amends for all the numerous lies he told when he was last on the show. We all remember Ted, the homeless crack addict with the gravitas voice of velvet. His smooth, mellow tone made women swoon and others want to buy what he was selling. After his rescue from the streets and the media blitz that had him going from show to show, it was rumored that he was back on drugs. Dr. Phil invited him on the show for the purpose of trying to sent him to rehab before the whirlwind of fame destroyed him again. During the show, Ted's family accused Ted of drinking, smoking crack, and physically attacking his daughter. Ted vehemently denied all those charges in front of Dr. Phil. Dr. Phil didn't believe him and still tried to get him help. After one failed attempt at sobriety, Ted returned to the clinic and is now cleaned. He came to clear the air, apologize and make true amends.
