According to this report, at least one-third of Americans are plus size yet the mainstream stores have mostly ignored them. Now, stores like Lane Bryant have led the charge with new technology in creating proportional clothing for full figured women. The average woman in America is a size 14. Lane Bryant uses body-scanning technology to create better fitting clothing. Fashion just began looking better.
