Can't make it to Boston? Then check out these World's Fair of Money images. Not only does the World's Fair of Money have that $100,000 bill on display -- you can also see America's first $20 gold coin. By the way, that money is worth far more than you might think. The $100,000 bill -- which is the country's largest currency denomination -- is actually worth about $1.6 million today. And as for that initial gold $20 coin? It's been valued at about $15 million.
If all that money has you wishing for your own greenbacks, you can get that at the fair too. The AP reports that free money at the World's Fair of Money was being given out, courtesy of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. It handed out $150 bills to some children as souvenirs -- thoroughly shredded and packed into tiny plastic bags, of course.
