After appearing in the box office hit films, 'Dreamgirls,' 'Why Did I Get Married?,' 'This Christmas,' 'Soul Men,' and 'Why Did I Get Married Too?' Sharon Leal returns to television as a cast member on the new CW series, 'Hellcats,' premiering Sept. 8 at 9 pm ET/PT.
The Arizona native was a series regular for four seasons on David E. Kelley's popular FOX series, 'Boston Public.'
Leal portrays Vanessa Lodge, head coach of the Hellcats, who must take the college cheerleading team to the championships in order to keep her job, all while balancing a love/hate relationship with the school's football coach.
Also starring in the series are Aly Michalka, Ashley Tisdale, Heather Hemmens, Robbie Jones, and Matt Barr.
