NFL Buffalo Bills Steve "Stevie" Johnson, a second year player who is having a banner year thus far, has been making quite a number of folks hot under the collar with the blasphemous remarks he made on his Twitter account recently.
It seems that the wide receiver dropped what would have been a winning touch down against the Pittsburg Steelers in an overtime game on Sunday. Instead of taking the blame himself for messing up what could have been an easy touchdown, he blatantly blamed God for his mistake.
After the game, Johnson told reporters, "I had the game in my hands and I dropped it. I'll never get over it. Ever."
The 24-year-old went on an angry tirade against the Almighty after the Steelers kicked his team's butt 19-16. Johnson tweeted the following:
I PRAISE YOU 24/7!!!!!! AND THIS HOW YOU DO ME!!!!! YOU EXPECT ME TO LEARN FROM THIS??? HOW???!!! ILL NEVER FORGET THIS!! EVER!!! THX THO...
Folks aren't taking too kindly to Johnson's remarks and many are peeved that he could have blamed God for his slip up. Hey, Stevie, let me pull your coattails, God has his hands pretty full right about now than to concern himself with a mere football game. Save your pleas for more important matters and handle your consequences like an adult.
