Celeb couple actress Eva Longoria and San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker are being sued for negligence by a man who says the pair's BMW collided in to his car last week.
The lawsuit was filed in a Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday.
Roman Gasparyan contends that he was on Hollywood Boulevard in a median and about to make a left, when the "Desperate Housewives" star, who was behind the wheel of the Bimmer, suddenly switched lanes and slammed in to his vehicle.
The plaintiff says that Longoria is entirely at fault and is suing the power couple for unspecified damages and, not surprisingly, physical and mental suffering.
Longoria, who was driving an BMW X5 SUV, is denying Gasparyan 's claims and says that the other driver's charges are "frivolous" and "without merit."
Both drivers had minor injuries, but no one was taken to a hospital. Parker was not involved in the accident but is the registered owner of the BMW.
Gasparyan's lawyer, Sanjay Sobti, also claims that an eyewitness reported Longoria's eyes were "red and bloodshot" at the time of the accident. Sobti's client is also stating he sustained back and neck pain, severe headaches, anxiety and blood pressure complications.
Longoria's legal camp is counter claiming Gasparyan's allegations:
"According to the police report, the other driver was clearly at fault and admitted to fault at the scene of the accident. Longoria made no sudden turn, did not violate any traffic violations nor did she make any sudden lane changes. The other driver is clearly trying to make a case where there is none. All charges are frivolous, without merit, and will not hold up in a court of law," the rep told TMZ. "Longoria's eyes were NOT red and bloodshot."
