No new show is safe from cancellation this time of the year.
ABC is making that point even more clear by pulling the plug on their new series, 'My Generation,' making it the second prime-time network series that was 86-ed after airing just two episodes.
Last week, FOX canceled the critically-acclaimed series 'Lone Star' after just two showings.
One of television's hunkiest newcomers, Calvin Klein model and former 'True Blood' star Mehcad Brooks played a jock named Rolly Marks, who gets deployed to Afghanistan on 'My Generation.'
'My Generation' drew in just 5.17 million viewers for its first episode despite being the lead in to ABC's most popular drama, 'Grey's Anatomy' and that dwindled to 3.82 million viewers for last week's second episode. This prompted network executives to officially cancel the documentary-style series on Friday despite having four episodes already in the can.
ABC has yet to announce what show will fill the now vacant Thursday night time slot that 'My Generation' held.
