'The Biggest Loser': Shawne Merriman

It was "NFL week" atThe Biggest Loser ranch, and several NFL superstars including: Drew Brees, Eric Dickerson, and Shawne Merriman helped the contestants in their last chance workouts. There was a special prize for the winner of the throwing contests - a VIP trip for two to the Super Bowl! Antone thought that he should be the odds on favorite. He wasn't. Shawne teamed up with the Black team to motivate them for their last chance workout. He was anticipating pushing Antone, the former NFL player to greatness. Antone has heart and he puts his all into every workout. In every workout he ends up on the ground writhing in pain or tears, the episode was no different.
The Black team didn't win it all but they were free from elimination again.

'Access Hollywood': Michael Jackson Under the Influence

The trial and saga continues, this time with recordings of Michael Jackson in his own words talking about his plans for the tour. Michael was talking to Dr. Murray and on the tape he had ambitious plans to benefit children through his last tour. Michael wanted to use some of the proceeds to open up a hospital for children. He wanted to make the tour bigger than anything Elvis or the Beatles had ever done. A nearly comatose Michael stayed focus on his penchant for aiding children because as he explained he hurt deeply for children with no childhood experiences. Michael slurred his words as he laid out his plans before succumbing to the sleep drug.

The 106 & Park Get Schooled Award was presented to NBA star Dwight Howard, who was skyped into the studio. Dwight Howard has traveled to Africa to open schools and help educate the youth there. Dwight hasn't just helped the motherland; he has also started a foundation that helps unwed mothers. The unwed mothers get a chance to finish their education and he assist in the education of their offspring as well. Dwight Howard is very active and puts his money where his mouth is in spreading the good word about education.

Wendy reported that Grammy Awarding winning rapper T.I., Clifford Harris,Jr. was released from jail and was automatically setup with a reality TV show. Wendy went on to say that she wishes him the best and wants him to stay out of jail, therefore, he should consider not doing high profile TV and he should stay away from his "boys" as well. T.I. is currently living at a half way house but that didn't stop VH1. The series to suppose to follow T.I. re-introduction back into society. T.I. was sent back to jail briefly because of the talks he had with the producers while he was furloughed from the halfway house. More proof that Wendy may be onto something. When already have TMI from T.I. and he should concentrate and getting straight and staying straight. Best of Luck, T.I.

'Extra': Conrad Murray and the Girlfriend

Nicole Alvarez, the pretty girlfriend and baby-momma, of Dr. Conrad Murray's child testified for the prosecution against Conrad Murray. She took that stand and answered questions regarding the case. The odd thing is later that same day she was spotted with the doctor walking hand in hand with him and their child. They reportedly were on the way to dinner. How odd must that be for the two of them. The prosecution was trying to show that Dr. Murray was thoroughly distracted while he was to be attending to Michael Jackson. Dr. Murray was juggling work, private practice, love relationships and family life which caused him to administer substandard care.

'The X Factor': Stacy Francis, Less Is More

Stacy Francis was the favorite contestant of Simon and Paula's but this time out she blew it. Stacy over-sang with a zeal that had all the loveliness of a hurt seal. She held one note for an eternity trying to impress then combined that with runs that caused Simon to stop her. Simon very flatly stated to her "less is more". It was easy to agree with him on this critique. Stacy later mused that she never had formal voice training and if one of the coaches could just work with her she would be much better. That is the difference with The X Factor, they are intent on helping as well as discovering new talent. In her second round, Stacy came out in the group session and sand U2's hit Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, with subdued and controlled passion. Her vocals were showcased even more with the clear tone and straight forward singing. The poker-faced judges let a slight nod of approval slip out. It was impressive.

Hip Hop Artist Akon has sold millions of records. He is well known but his brother, known simply as Bu Thiam (Bu) is the one making the splash these days. Bu, is CEO of Konvict records and a V.P. at Def Jam records has been mistaken for Akon several times. The West African biological brothers look more like twins. Bu has been stopped several times by people who thought he was the "Konvict". As a matter of fact Akon and Bu were to have a reality show in which Bu went around pretending to be Akon and received the celebrity treatment. According to Akon Bu got too famous and people started mistaking Akon for Bu. In this clip the two come on to promote their new artist and they talk about being mistaken for each other.

'The Talk': Brandy Have You Ever?

Julie hosted a game with Brandy called Have You Ever? Based on the hit single. In the game Julie asked contestants personal questions about Brandy. The contestants, mostly audience members until the entire cast lined up one by one to play. The questions were things like, "Have you ever stuffed your bra? Or have you ever shoplifted?" It was intrusive but Brandy seemed to be playing along. Brandy's good friend Kimora Lee Simmons was a co-host on the show as well. The last question went to Kimora and if she answered correctly the entire audience was to go home with gifts. She answered correctly.

Mechad Brooks was spotted the other day by the ubiquitous TMZ paparazzi. They were outside the popular Hollywood eatery STK. Mechad is known for his stint on True Blood, Desperate Housewives and Necessary Roughness. Mechad was with Elisabetta Canalis the recently, former girlfriend of George Clooney. Mechad was playing it coy and cool all at the same time. The paps kept snapping his photo. Lisabetta is best known for her recent breakup with the seductive George Clooney. George Clooney the reluctant Don Quixote, has dated some of the prettiest women in the world, and now Mechad is stepping into those well worn shoes.

'The X Factor': Starving to Singing

They time finally came for the judges to pair it down to 32 acts from the over 140 acts. In the over 30 category, the race was close. The well traveled and love former Mrs. Ike Turner did not make it. But the former homeless man and starving artist Dexter Haygood's name was called. Only seven acts from each category could advance to the main event. Dexter was called at number seven. He broke down crying. LA Reid to him it was time for him to believe in himself. Dexter nearly blew his chances several times when he continued to imitate the greats instead of being great. Dexter walked down to hug a sobbing Paula Abdul. This is why we love Paula, because she cares deeply. Hopefully Dexter can keep it up for one more week. Stacy Francis filled the eighth slot.

First place went to the obvious, Oprah Winfrey, who earned an estimated $290 million dollars, last year alone. Lady Gaga came in a distant second place with a paltry $90 million dollars. This list explained 2010 earnings only. Better luck next year, Gaga.

'Bridezillas': Get Out!

Bride, Kim, has been fighting with everyone around her to keep him or her on track for her big wedding day. Kim feels as if she has been planning her wedding alone. Several of her bridesmaids have dropped the ball along the way. Some of them miss fittings, rehearsals, shopping trips and more. At one point the hairstylist doesn't show up to style the ladies for picture day. Kim is certainly at her breaking point when later that week she can't get help from her sleeping sister. Kim rudely awakes her sister with a cold-water bath while she sleeps in her bed. Monique, one of the bridesmaids, shows up to the house after missing the fitting the day before. Kim tolerates her until Monique commiserates with Kim's sister about the crazed bridezilla. Kim hunts down Monique and literally tosses her out the front door.

Jerry Maguire was based on this man, Drew Rosenhaus, the NFL super-agent that has the largest roster of football players. Drew says that he has bailed players out of jail, put them in rehab and has gotten them the best contracts. Plaxico Burress tells how Drew Rosenhaus kept his spirits up while he was in jail. Drew met Plaxico outside the prison when he was released. Even though Plaxico hadn't played football in over two years, Drew got him and contract with the New York Jets. Drew has players on every team but the Atlanta Falcons. One thing is certain and that is one of Drew's clients will play in the Superbowl every year.

Kendra Wilkinson, the former playmate that married football player Hank Baskett, wrote in her latest book that Wendy Williams offended her. Kendra, has always liked Wendy Williams and was even on DWTS at the same time as Wendy. In Kendra's latest book she states that Wendy offended her when Wendy said that Hank should divorce Kendra right away because of the sex tape that was released. Kendra appears on the show to confront Wendy about her comments. That confrontation was rather tepid. Kendra came on and immediately mentioned that she loves Wendy and is a big fan. Wendy picked up Kendra's book and read the passages pertaining to her. Kendra mentioned how much that hurt her because most people were supporting her in that difficult time. Kendra expected Wendy to have her back and instead it seemed like Wendy was stabbing her verbally. Tried to explain it by saying that she only calls it as she sees it. Kendra admitted that people were thinking like Wendy but none would say the word divorce in front of her. In the end Kendra confessed more love for Wendy and they carried on.

'Extreme Makeover Home Edition': Driver Reconciles with Victim

The Rucker family, based in Georgia, was the lucky family to receive an Extreme Home Makeover. Nine year-old Anaiah Rucker, was hit by a truck and suffered such extreme injuries that she lost her leg. Anaiah saved her sister from being hit and took the full brunt of the hit herself. Anaiah, a basketball fan, has been learning how to participate in some of the activities that she has always enjoyed. Dwight Howard showed up at the gym to teach her some of the finer points of the game and life. Back at their home, a man named Terry came forward to talk to TY. Terry was the driver of the truck that ran over Anaiah. Terry was full of remorse and wanted to come out and help build the house for the Rucker family. Terry tearfully talked about how tormented he has been since the accident. Later, Ty arranged for Terry to talk to the family directly. Tears flowed as the family listened to Terry's apology. Andrea, the mother, tells him it wasn't his fault. Her forgiveness seemed to lighten both of their hearts.

In this clip a black family chooses to surprise a mom with a birthday party. They blindfold her and lead her into a room. The woman has no idea what is going on. While she is still blindfolded everyone screams surprise. Overwhelmed, the woman falls back instantly. She faints so hard that people gather around and try to wake her. She eventually got up and wasn't hurt. The stunt was enough for them to win the $10,000 dollar prize.

All the ladies want to help Imani get some action or at least meet a decent person for a hookup. The ladies organize a little get together and invite potentials for Imani to check out. Jackie scores points when she saunters in with a young buff white guy. Imani is immediately impressed with his looks. They sit down and have a good conversation. Later, the ladies quiz Imani about all the men she met and which had possibilities. Kyle, Jackie's friend, impressed Imani. Imani went to so far as to say that, "White is right", referring to her white date, Kyle. The ladies laughed, concurred and slapped high fives to accent the finding. Imani continued by saying that maybe she has been batting for the wrong team the entire time. This usually refers to gender but in this case Imani meant she only dated black now white is right. We know this is her intention because she was impressed with the amount of attention he showed her, offering to get her drinks and more.

'The T.O. Show': Terrell Acting Scene with Stacy Dash

Terrell has an acting gig. He is in the multi-starred movie, Dysfunctional Friends". Black Hollywood has been joking that every black actor is in the movie. Supposedly it is a shorter list for who is not in the movie. Terrell has a scene with Stacy Dash. Apparently Terrell has a few scenes with her but we don't get a glimpse of the steamy stuff. We see an awkward Terrell try to hit on Stacy Dash and get timid. Stacy even does the near unforgivable, she miss pronounces his name. Every fan knows T pronounces his name Terrell, and not Ter rell, accent on the first syllable. It is very American to put the accent on the second syllable. Terrell mentions that normally he would correct a person when they screw up his name but in this instance he let Stacy Dash get away with the infraction.

'The Rosie Show': Oprah Passes the Torch

Oprah has the one of the few networks owned by a woman, and a Black woman at that. Yes, TVOne has Cathy Hughes but Oprah is a sensation and tour de force. Rosie O'Donnell inherited the Oprah Winfrey stage and majority of it's TV staff of producers. It's great that Oprah had something for all those people to move onto after her show ended. Rosie's first show was live and at the end she mentioned that the show was lacking something. That was the cue for Oprah to come out and greet the audience as confetti fell. Oprah's appearance was the christening of Rosie and her show. Oprah waved like the rockstar she is and the fans went crazy. Hopefully the energy will continue in future shows.

C.J. Senter is a rockstar like Justin Bieber to a whole group of young kids. C.J. is a six-pack toting exercise guru based in Georgia who has his own line of workout DVDs. C.J. is on a mission to gets kids his age moving and working out. The amazing part, his mother relays, is that C.J. developed a taste for this lifestyle on his own without parental prompting. C.J. doesn't lift weights; his physique is based on calisthenics. Although C.J. is known for his rock hard abs, his parents say he is not body image obsessed. "It wasn't anything he set out to do on purpose" said Adrienne Senter, his Mom, in reference to C.J.'s physique. On the flip-side some doctors worry that young kids are playing too hard and are experiencing sports injuries at an early age than in past decades.
