'The Today Show': Victim or Prevaricator?

Nafissatou Diallo is the accuser to Dominic Strauss-Kahn (DSK) in the New York hotel rape case that almost was. The prosecutors filed a motion to dismiss all charges against DSK. According to the D.A.'s office, the victim has told too many lies and has become an unfit witness. In other words, the D.A. believes Miss Diallo to be a prevaricator. The D.A. is also pursuing perjury charges against Miss Diallo. Several people, outside the courtroom, protested the decision. Ken Thompson, attorney for Miss Diallo, accused the D.A.'s office of bungling the case. All parties agree that some form of sexual contact occurred between the two, they just disagree on whether there was mutual consent.

'Big Brother': Big Shocker

Kalia, the last black person left on Big Brother, is now on the elimination block. She has carefully maneuvered through the minefield. Her alliances have been strained and at odds with her friendship/alliance with Danielle. Kalia didn't listen to Danielle when Kalia was Head of Household. Now Kalia's best ally is on the chopping block with her. How will they campaign to stay in the game? This will end the alliance either way it goes because one of them is off the show come Sunday.

Extra': LaLa Vasquez Anthony

LaLa came out to the Extra set, to help promote her new show "La La's Full Court Life", that airs on VH1. LaLa promises to have several of her friends drop in on her life. Her husband is of course, Carmelo Anthony the 65 Million dollar NY Knick. LaLa's friends, Serena Williams, Kim Kardashian and Kelly Rowland, just to name a few are featured on the show. LaLa promises lots of behind the scenes of basketball and boy talk.

'Access Hollywood Live': Arsenio Hall Foot Fetish

Arsenio Hall has been guest hosting all week and he seems to always find a way to bring feet into the discussion. One is lead to believe Arsenio may have a "foot fetish". We haven't search for any confirmation but this video alone brings up some questions. Carnie Wilson was on set talking about her new TV show when she mentioned that she loves to bake (desserts presumably). She brought with her a plate full of desserts. A side note, work and baking keep Carnie sober. Arsenio was so smitten with the desserts he plopped down and began massaging Carnie's feet.

Kalia had a really bad week with her best friend being kicked off earlier. Thursday Kalia won H.O.H (Head of Household) and decided it was time to settle old scores. Kalia went straight for the two people who wreaked the most havoc on her and her alliance. Kalia put Jeff and Rachel on the block in this special double elimination day. Porsche finally stepped up and won the veto. Jeff, the same person who slammed Kalia just a few weeks earlier, was ceremoniously ejected.

Playa Frank has some moves because he and Toccara are lip-locked during majority of their date. Toccara has melted chocolate and paintbrushes set up for their sexy food fantasy date. They paint, then lick, each other all night.

In this special, several of Aaliyah's closest associates - including many that were on the fateful last video shoot, speak out. Timberland and Missy Elliott recount how Aaliyah helped make their careers as producers. Timberland sadly argued with Aaliyah moments before she died. 'Alphas': Do Not Drink the Kool Aide

Malik Yoba, Bill Harken in the series, tries to save Dr. Rosen and two colleagues from a religious "Jim Jones" style leader who has special powers. Harken travels into the lion's den but not before setting up life-saving precautions with Gary Bell and Rachel Pizad, in-case all goes wrong. All goes wrong and Harken is saved by others quick thinking. Harken delivers the soothing speech to keep Dr. Rosen from imploding after shooting and killing a person for the first time.

T.O.'s (Terrell Owens) business partner, matchmaker/PR person, Kita Williams can now add another label to her roster with T.O. Kita has become the designated urine collector and flatulence detector. Since T.O. has been laid up in his bed because of surgery, he needs someone to collect his urine and pour it down the drain. If T.O. wants make it back in time, he and Kita have to find the inspiration for him. T.O. has a difficult time keeping his gas under control.

'Basketball Wives LA': The Fight Continues

This is the Los Angeles branch of the Basketball Wives franchise (ala Housewives franchise) and the frivolous fighting continues in LA. These ladies argue about the same "high school" subjects as the Miami ladies. They accuse each other of not being legitimate, or being too bougie or any trivial matter that con be twisted into an adult size problem. This time Laura, the sister of Gloria, calls Malaysia a hoodrat after calling her bougie all episode. Malaysia decides this is worthy of fighting over and the ridiculousness commences. This critique is not meant to be a condemnation of the show, rather it is meant to explain the reasons for watching this wonderful piece of escapism. Enjoy.

'TMZ': LeBron Misquoted

TMZ spots LeBron James coming out of a club after celebrating his girlfriend's birthday. TMZ asks LBJ if he thinks there will be a basketball season. LBJ's response isn't clear, at first it sounds like he says "Nope". TMZ reports that LBJ says "Nope" to the question. Someone on LBJ's staff of handlers calls TMZ to tell them they misquoted LBJ. At second listen, it seems LBJ answered, "We hope", not "Nope". That's a big mistake for TMZ, they had a good time with the faux pas.

Quiana, aka Ice, takes her turn in front of the commercial cameras to dance with the Sears vacuum. Ice stops in the middle of the choreography. The place goes silent for a minute. Ice apologizes several times but the director is ready to move on. Ice pulls it together after a little of prodding from LaurieAnn. In the elimination ceremony, LaurieAnn chides and rides Ice hard for stopping the playback. According to LaurieAnn, no performer has the right to stop the shoot, except maybe Diana Ross. Ice still makes it through to the next round.

Tabitha, 43 years old is about to have her 2005 Ford Taurus repossessed by the Repo-Man. Tabitha's daughter drives up and blocks the tow truck in a desperate effort to stop the Repo-Man. Mother and daughter decide to play Repo Games in hopes of winning the car,"free and clear". The daughter proves to be less help and more hindrance when it comes to answering some of the obvious and simple trivia questions.
