One of the best to ever play the game has to decided to call it quits. After 13 seasons, Randy Moss is retiring. Despite being known around the league as having a terrible attitude and a tumor on any team we was a part of, Randy Moss still put up spectacular numbers that could not be ignored.
Nobody can remember seeing Matthew Perry angry. Determined? Always. Fearless? No question. Forceful and firm? Without a doubt. Kind, compassionate and respectful? Without fail. But never angry. Never bitter. Perry's remarkable temperament - and unmatched legal skills - were essential to the relatively peaceful progress of civil rights in South Carolina during the turbulent 1960s and beyond. While the state endured pain and tragedy in those days, South Carolina advanced with "far less turmoil than her neighbors," Chief U.S. District Judge Joseph F. Anderson Jr. wrote in a 2004 tribute to Perry.
The NAACP has just passed a historic resolution demanding an end to the War on Drugs. The resolution comes as young Black male unemployment hovers near 50 percent and the wealth gap's become a veritable gulf. So why is the forty-year-old "War on Drugs" public enemy number one for the nation's oldest civil rights organization?
Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, released from state prison this morning after serving 14 months, vowed to come back to Detroit to tell his story.
"Detroit, I will return to speak frankly with you about this experience because it has affected all of us," Kilpatrick said in a released statement. "I am beginning anew. I am looking forward. I have new dreams and aspirations. I have a new hope. My greatest desire is that my testimony will give anyone who will listen permission to dream of greatness and to push toward it even in the midst of failure.
The last time this project and its cast were discussed here was back in November of last year at the old site; when Tambay reported Faith Evans would portray singer Florence Ballard in her big screen biopic. At the time, Taraji P. Henson was also rumored to have been offered the role of Diana Ross. Well now, it looks like both Evans and Henson are out of the picture.
Will Smith and Jada Pinkeet-Smith recently opened their 25,000 sq ft home to the readers of Architectural Digest in their upcoming September issue.
Sporting a meditation room, a lake, tennis courts and a circular design, the Smiths spared no expense to make their 9 bedroom Calabasas home a perfect fit for their family's needs.
"Everything needed to be done by hand," Will says. "We wanted to feel the love and labor that went into every piece of this place."
Jada agreed adding, "We're very earthy, organic people. We wanted to create a family retreat, something made by hand and as natural as possible, something that ties back to the land."

This is the episode with the wedding and what a disappointment. Tia and Tamera are no Kardashians. Why do I say that? The wedding portion of the show is narrated with stills pictures and no video. Wait a minute. This is a reality show and the dream of every reality show producer is to have a wedding episode or a major fight episode. This show stops the cameras when the wedding begins. What a rip-off. All Tamera does during the planning is complain about how much the wedding cost and how little Tia is there to help, emotionally. Get a clue, you should have had the wedding sponsored and made a million dollars.
T.O.(Terrell Owens) finds out that he needs ACL surgery. This comes at a bad time. Eventhough it is the off-season T.O. doesn't yet have a commitment from a team yet. When T.O.'s publicist, Kita arrives at the hospital, she is shocked to see him in bed prepped for surgery. T.O. uses the moment to pretend to seize up. The fun and games dissipate with the seriousness of the injury. A torn ACL is usually a career ender for older players.
La La's and her female friends, Kelly Rowland and Poe take on the guys in a game of bowling. The stakes are whoever loses must choose a member of their team to go out in the Denver cold - "Naked" and run up the block. As luck would have it, the Carmelo and the fellas win. La La and Kelly Rowland previously decided that Poe would be the designated naked runner. The guys watch, laugh then pelt her with snowballs.
Tiara joins Natasia to get "Bad Girls Club" tattoos. Tiara didn't calculate in the pain factor, what a mistake since she happens to be shy about pain. Tiara asks the other girls if it hurts and they all say no. It even sounds convincing when the others say no. Once it is Tiara's turn to tatt it up, she cries with pain.
In this part two of the Reunion Show, Tami really goes off on Meeka. It's Brooklyn on Brooklyn (or maybe Queens) accents. Tami has strong feelings against everything Meeka. Tami turns her vicious tongue against Meeka's husband. Tami says he should give her ten percent since she made him famous. It gets ugly. This is the best of reality TV, no fisticuffs just terse talk and hurt feelings.
LaurieAnn Gibson's dancers perform on the now defunct Mo'Nique Show. A major pet peeve of LaurieAnn's is when dancers wear jewelry while performing. LauriAnne hates jewerly and with good reason as she explains over and over again. Jahleeka aka Jelly dons a necklace that her young daughter bought for her. Within seconds of Jelly doing her "roll" the necklace broke off and hit the floor. LaurieAnn noticed right away even though her two associates missed it. LaurieAnn was ready to toss Jelly out or so we were lead to believe.
When the Repo man shows up to take the 2002 car from Gabriel, a 21 year-old, her mother comes tries to help. Gabriel confessed she did not make the payment on the car, when asked by her mother. Once they both understood they could keep the car all payments cleared, they decided to play the game. It took two to win back this car.
Hoda and Kathie Lee Gifford (KLG) broadcasted another one of their workout shows. They exercised throughout majority of the show. Hoda and KLG disscuss how to buy the correct clothes for your body, giving the appearance of losing ten pounds. Yes, the dress can make the lady, look sexier is the rest of the phrase. Women have long used many "tricks of the trade" to give the appearance of being differently proportioned than their natural bodies would reveal.
POPLYFE is the second coming of the Bay Area groups. Just like Sly and The Family Stone, and their blood relatives of two of the members, the Wiggins of Tony Toni Tone, this Bay Area group plays their instruments and blends funk with R&B. Today they took on the Beatles' hit Come Together". They wowed the audience and the judges. Piers, originally was a fan of the lead singer only and advise her to drop the others. Tonight Piers lauded the entire group and predicted that in two or three years they will be huge.
Apparently the rumor spread like a California wildfire, burning up the internet. It was reported that Will and Jada Smith have called it quits after decades of love. Shawn Robinson has the inside scoop from sources close to the family that the rumors are untrue. It rumors gained unsubstantiated credibility, which forced Will and Jada to finally release an official statement. Maybe the rumors were started because of the hot and steamy on set scenes between the recently separated Mark Anthony, and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
Although the term "Shyster" is usually reserved for law or politics, but the behind the scenes aspect of football can be political as well. Orlando Jones' character, Laz is the mind guru to professional athletes or so TK thought. TK goes to Miami at the behest of his guru and discovers the dark side of self-help gurus. TK is left with a $49,000.00 hotel bill and only himself for help.
Access Hollywood found Queen Latifah on the set promoting one of her many ventures. She was asked if the internet rumors about her joining the cast of "Dancing With The Stars" were true. She said absolutely not! No disrespect to the show but apparently the Queen is far too busy to take that much time out to compete on a reality show. The Queen is about to showcase her new line of clothes on The Home Shopping Network. I guess after hearing how Jessica Simpson is nearly a billionaire, everyone is stepping into the clothes game.
Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia, has done it again. This time Juicy J got drunk on the night of the soft open. The Dolce Group asked him to go home and sleep it off. Juicy J didn't like they way they asked him to leave, so he became slightly belligerent. Juicy J started throwing around the newly purchased dining room furniture. He emphasized he displeasure further by throwing glasses, yelling and generally protesting the insistence that he was too drunk to work the room. Eventually DJ Paul and some of the others convince him to leave. DJ Paul like a good bruh sticks with his crewmate.
